Captain Sos Elbakyan, who died from an Azerbaijani soldier’s gunshot in the northeastern sector of the Armenia-Azerbajian state border, was 28 years old and lived in the Marmashen village of Shirak Province of Armenia, as reported the village council of Marmashen.

Sos Elbakyan was the cousin of the head of Marmashen village Karen Arshakyan.

Armenian News-NEWS.am was told that Sos was married and was living with his elder brother and parents and that the family is involved in agriculture.

The body of the deceased soldier still hasn’t been transferred to the village.
