Minister of Economy of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan today had a meeting with outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Armenia Igor Nazaruk.

Khachatryan expressed gratitude to Nazaruk for his fruitful efforts and expressed certainty that the Ambassador’s efforts have made a great contribution to the strengthening of the relations between the two friendly countries.

Khachatryan also stated that he recently held a discussion with the Belarusian forest economy minister and discussed the course of implementation of the decisions of by the Armenian-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation. The minister voiced hope that all the bilateral agreements will be implemented.

Nazaruk expressed gratitude to the minister for the high appreciation of his work and emphasized the effective cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of Armenia. He also touched upon the current and upcoming business plans in Armenia and recalled the establishment of an Armenian-Belarusian forest in the vicinity of Armenia’s Lake Sevan and attached importance to continuation of the efforts in this direction.

At the end of the meeting, Khachatryan granted the Commemorative Medal of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia to Igor Nazaruk as a token of appreciation of the cooperation.
