During a briefing in Armenia’s Ijevan today, ex-spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan said Azerbaijan is targeting its own population in its own villages.

“After the briefing, I will share my information on how Azerbaijan is targeting armored vehicles in the vicinity of homes, targeting peaceful civilians. Currently, we have evidence to prove this,” he said, adding that at this moment, the overall operative situation is relatively calm, there haven’t been shootings since 6 p.m., and there is less tension.

Hovhannisyan said the Azerbaijani side has suffered 11 casualties based on official statistics, but he is certain that the numbers may change.
