Armenian FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan held phone talks with his Cyprus' counterpart Nikos Christodoulides, Armenian MFA reported.

The FMs discussed the situation in the north-eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border as a result of aggression from Azerbaijan.

Minister Mnatsakanyan informed Christodoulides in detail about the provocative actions of Azerbaijan, including the targeted shelling of civilian infrastructure and civilians by Azerbaijani forces.

In this regard, Christodoulides condemned the Azerbaijani aggression against Armenia.

Armenian FM, in turn, noted that Turkey’s unconditional support for the aggression of Azerbaijan is extremely alarming and is yet another manifestation of the behavior of the Turkish authorities aimed at inciting instability and undermining security in the region.
