In relation to the gunshots fired by Azerbaijan on July 14, 2020, the Tavush Regional Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia has instituted three criminal cases with elements of motive of national hatred; depriving of life in a way that is dangerous for life of many people, unlawfully and intentionally and intentional elimination of property.
The cases have been instituted in relation to the gunshots fired in the direction of the brandy factory in Berd (Tavush Province), the gunshots fired in the direction of the homes of seven civilians in Aygepar village and the gunshots fired in the direction of a cemetery in the Tavush settlement of Berd village.
Preliminary investigation is underway.
