You can all see how our armed forces are controlling the situation, and they’re controlling it with a high level of confidence. This is what deputy of the My Step faction of the National Assembly of Armenia, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense and National Security of the National Assembly Andranik Kocharyan told reporters today.

“The public also has to have trust in the recent operations of the Armenian air force units. Thanks to its controllability, the army is completing its tasks very calmly and with great confidence. It so happened that the events that took place in Armenia helped raise the level of controllability of the army, and it’s a fact, whether we want to or not. We need to support our army,” he said, adding that after April 2016, the Armenian armed forces have reclassified their problems with controllability and are increasing capacities.

“You saw how 10 UAVs were downed in two days, including expensive UAVs manufactured in Israel. It was very painful for Azerbaijan and the manufacturers because they had spent a lot of money. I believe the adversary noticed that using such tools is not effective,” the MP said, adding that Azerbaijan has always tried to subject the borders to changes in its favor, including on the line of contact.
