During a briefing in Armenia’s Ijevan today, Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan said Azerbaijan had shelled Tavush Textile LLC and Yerevan Brandy Factory’s branch in Berd.

“This is condemnable and troubling since Tavush Textile LLC manufactures face masks, and during the pandemic, the issue is viewed from the humanitarian perspective and is a violation of international humanitarian norms. Azerbaijan had explored the textile factory with UAVs, and we assume that it knew in advance that there is a non-military object there, not to mention the fact that the textile factory was shelled in the afternoon when the employees were in the factory, and it is clear that Azerbaijan had a target to cause damage,” he said.
