Prime Minister of Tunisia Elyes Fakhfakh has resigned, AFP reports, citing two official sources.
Since the parliamentary elections in October, Fakhfakh, who is being inquired based on the charge of conflict of interests, has had tense relations with Enahdha Party, the largest party in parliament.
Earlier, the political party had made a proposal to express lack of confidence in Fakhfakh, who assumed office in February.
