The German government is very concerned about reports of hostilities and violations of the ceasefire regime on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, DW reported referring to the German MFA.

According to the MFA, they call on both sides to immediately cease hostilities and refrain from further provocative statements and actions.

Berlin called on both parties to the conflict to use the established negotiation mechanism under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs and return to a constructive dialogue to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. 

The ministry noted that Germany, as one of the members of the Minsk Group, fully supports the efforts of the MG three co-chairs.
