The Turkish defense minister Hulusi Akar has reiterated its support to Azerbaijan.

During the meeting with the Azerbaijani delegation led by deputy defense minister General Ramiz Tahirov, Akar noted that all necessary measures will be taken amid the recent developments, Anadolu reported.

According to him, they strongly condemn the dastardly attack on the Tovuz region of Azerbaijan and the death of the Azerbaijani military will not remain unanswered. 

He added that Turkey has been and remains a friend of Azerbaijan.
