By the decision of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan Artak Davtyan was appointed chair of the Military-Industrial Committee, the government's press service reported.
After the change of power, Artak Davtyan was appointed chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces but was dismissed after violating the commandant's demands to refrain from mass events during the pandemic as Davtyan organized his son's wedding.
