Turkey is a "destabilizing factor," said the Greek Chief of Staff Konstantinos Floros.
According to him, Turkey poses a threat to Greece and the status quo in the Eastern Mediterranean, Ekhatimerini reported.
He noted that the states in the Eastern Mediterranean region must “cooperate in a framework of peace and security and to pursue the well-being of their citizens.”
Floros noted the Greek armed forces are ready to defend the country's territorial integrity and sovereign rights from any threat.
