As reported the Office of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan today posted the following on his Facebook page:

"Today I had another talk with Head of the Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Armenia Claire Meytraud about the issue regarding resident of Nerkin Khndzoresk village of Syunik Province of Armenia, citizen of Armenia Narek Sardaryan.

Taking into consideration the mandate of the International Committee of the Red Cross, as well as the agreement with the Head of the ICRC Delegation in Armenia, the Office of the Human Rights Defender can’t provide details at this moment, but the Office of the Human Rights Defender will continue to be in contact with its colleagues of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Besides, both the Human Rights Defender and his authorized representative are always in contact with Narek Sardaryan’s family.
