The Supreme Judicial Council, having considered the petitions submitted by the Armenian General Prosecutor, ruled to initiate criminal proceedings against the Court of Bankruptcy judges Gevorg Narinyan and Ara Kubanyan.

Armenian Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan's adviser Gor Abrahamyan wrote on his Facebook earlier on Friday that Artur Davtyan had appealed to the Supreme Judicial Council to obtain consent to the initiation of criminal prosecution and imprisonment of two judges. However, the adviser did not elaborate.
