Turkey’s pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party has refused to sign under an anti-Armenian statement drafted by the other four political parties in parliament.
According to the Turkish Gazeteduvar, the clarification of the Peoples’ Democratic Party states that it is necessary to give preference to a peacemaking foreign policy instead of an anti-Armenian statement and that bringing Armenia and Azerbaijan to the negotiating table and easing the tension need to be the main principle.
The Justice and Development Party, Republican People’s Party, National Movement Party and Good Party of the Parliament of Turkey have adopted a statement condemning the so-called ‘aggression of Armenia’ against Azerbaijan.
