President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Haroutyunyan posted the following on his Facebook page:

“Yesterday I spent the night with our border guards. From the altitude of the fighting position (3,724 meters), one can see not only the large military infrastructures and movement of troops of the adversary, but also what the nearly 500,000 citizens do on a daily basis. This is only from one point, and in this case, does the official Baku want a military solution to the Artsakh-Azerbaijan conflict?

The chief of the General Staff of the Defense Army and I discussed the sequence of our actions in case of potential adventurism of the adversary, as a result of which Azerbaijan will suffer irreversible losses. Time has taught the lessons of speaking to us in the language of force. If the representatives of Ilham Aliyev’s political and military leadership haven’t learned those lessons, they will bear full responsibility for the consequences of the humanitarian disaster caused in the region as a result of their potential unreasonable orders. Nothing will save the adventurers…
