On the occasion of the Feast of Transfiguration of Our Lord Jesus Christ, at the St. Mary’s Church in Aleppo, Prelate of the Armenian Diocese of Aleppo, Bishop Masis Zobouian performed a special Requiem Service for the souls of the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Armenia who died during the recent military operations on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, including Major Garush Hambardzumyan, Captain Sos Elbakyan, as well as Junior Sergeants Smbat Gabrielyan and Grisha Matevosyan to rest in peace.

Among the attendees were Consul General of Armenia in Aleppo Armen Sargsyan; representative of the humanitarian group of Armenia at the Consulate, Colonel Arkady Tonoyan; member of the Armenian Central Department Hrach Hakobyan, as well as representatives of the Assembly of National Delegates, National Board, Religious Assembly and National Bodies of the Armenian Diocese of Aleppo.
