Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan posted the following on his Facebook page:

“Hundreds of money transfers have been made to the Insurance Fund for Servicemen over the past two hours.

Thank you, dear compatriots. This is more like great moral support to the Armenian army and state rather than financial assistance.

Once again, I would also like to ask everyone to refrain from taking the initiative to obtain items for the army. You can simply transfer the money to be spent for those items to the Insurance Fund for Servicemen, the activities of which are fully transparent and are under supervision prescribed by law.”

Later, he added the following: “The pace of transfers grew in the past 15 minutes, transfers are being made once every three minutes. Thank you, everyone.”
