European Parliament rapporteur on Armenia Traian Basescu has recently resigned, Hraparak daily reported.
The decision was made two months ago.
"By the way, our newspaper was the first to write that Basescu will be the rapporteur on Armenia appointed by the European Parliament, he has always stood out with his anti-Armenian behavior," the daily noted.
