Armenian FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan explained when it will be possible to organize Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders' meeting.

The FM cannot agree with the opinion that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship format does not work, he said in an interview with France 24. 

The OSCE MG, according to the minister, worked very efficiently and has a very solid foundation, a very solid platform on which all three countries - Russia, France, and the US - are working very actively.

When asked whether the meeting of the leaders of the two countries would play a decisive role in easing tensions and overcoming the crisis, the Armenian FM noted that the Armenian side is determined to use all possible means to advance the peace process.

"These meetings should be carefully prepared as we truly seek to lay a good foundation for progress," he noted. "The meeting of the leaders will take place only when we prepare a good basis for such a meeting in order to achieve progress in the negotiations."
