July 20th is International Chess Day, and this July 20th was more than a holiday since it also marked the release of Henrik Gasparyan’s new book of his 110 compositions. Third President of Armenia, President of the Chess Federation of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan also attended the presentation of Gasparyan’s book.

During the event devoted to the book presentation and International Chess Day, Armenia’s top chess players tried to solve three beautiful compositions, and the first three chess players who solved the compositions correctly received Gasparyan’s book as gifts. This was followed by the book presentation. The attendees remembered Henrik Gasparyan’s 110th anniversary and his great contributions to the major task of creating interesting compositions.

The winners were awarded by Serzh Sargsyan.
