During a visit to Athens, Minister of Foreign Affairs Heiko Maas said Turkey needs to stop extracting natural resources in the eastern Mediterranean region in order to achieve advancement in its relations with the European Union and added that Germany’s position is that international law must be observed, Reuters reports.
