Russian economist Mikhail Delyagin was offered money to comment that Armenia provoked the conflict with Azerbaijan, targeting the country’s oil mines. This is what Delyagin posted on his Telegram channel.

“Russian mass media outlets, with which I haven’t had contact for one-and-a-half years already (due to their stupidity), call me on the phone and offer me money to give them commentaries in which I state that Armenia provoked the conflict with Azerbaijan, targeting the latter’s oil mines. In response to my courteous question why Armenia (since Azerbaijan unequivocally provoked the conflict in February) and the question which sector of the conflict zone Azerbaijani oil mines are located (it’s interesting, there was a time when I knew geography to a certain extent), the editor of the economic section of a mass media outlet of Moscow said the following: “Well, this is simply the position of Baku.”

This means that if tomorrow Baku expresses the position according to which the Russians organized the Armenian Genocide, the mass media outlets o fMoscow will gladly gather commentaries confirming that in exchange of money.
