The campaign headquarters of Donald Trump on Tuesday received over $ 20 million after the first virtual fundraising conducted by the US president, TASS reported referring to Axios.

The virtual fundraiser was moderated by Trump's eldest son and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle.

The event was also attended by Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, and Trump's daughter Tiffany. The president's supporters raised issues related to the armed forces, schools, and violence in US cities.

The 59th US presidential election is scheduled for November 3.
