The US Ambassador to Azerbaijan has been called to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan in relation to the protest held by the Armenians near the country’s Consulate General in Los Angeles, as reported Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Leyla Abdullayeva.

“The US Ambassador to Azerbaijan has been called to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in regard to the provocative and aggressive actions held by Armenian radicals in front of the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles,” Abdullayeva said, Azerbaijani mass media report.

As reported earlier, representatives of the Armenian community in Los Angeles, California, held a protest action against the recent attacks by Azerbaijan on the state border of Armenia.

As representative of Horizon Armenian Television Vruir Tadevosian reported live on his Facebook page, the protest started in front of the Azerbaijani Consulate in Los Angeles. which was attended by thousands of Armenians. The participants condemned the Azerbaijani aggression. The action was accompanied by Armenian songs and dances.

Later there was a clash with the Azerbaijanis. There are wounded. The Azerbaijani attacked the Armenian young women as they were leaving the area. There were nearly 30 Azerbaijanis who left at some point, leaving their national flag on the asphalt. Some of them were wounded.
