After July 12, the international community made several calls to condemn the ceasefire violations and stop the violence, and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and the co-chairing countries have made great contributions to the restoration of the ceasefire. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan declared during today’s government session.
“From this perspective, what was particularly effective was Russia’s involvement expressed at the level of the general staffs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Armed Forces.
Turkey was the only country that is trying to incite even more violence instead of mitigating the situation. Taking into consideration Turkey’s destabilizing and aggressive policy in most of its bordering regions and the country’s conventional anti-Armenian policy expressed through justification of the Armenian Genocide, to a great extent, Turkey’s actions didn’t come as a surprise. However, the increase of its aggression is leading to the emergence of the need to review Armenia’s policy to a certain extent,” he said.
