President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Haroutyunyan today convened a working consultation devoted to the state support programs for economic operators.
The ministers of agriculture, economy and industrial infrastructures, the chief advisor to the President, the general manager of Artsakh Investment Fund and the executive director of the Village and Agriculture Support Fund delivered their reports.
Haroutyunyan stated that Artsakh’s economy is currently facing many challenges, the most urgent of which are the problems with export and internal consumption due to COVID-19. In this context, the head of state emphasized that the state support programs of the Artsakh Investment Fund and the Village and Agriculture Support Fund must first and foremost contribute to intensification of the country’s economy and that it is necessary to develop new toolkits that will underlie the principles of effectiveness, transparency, addressability and inclusivity.
The President assigned the heads of the relevant structures to examine the more long-term and effective support programs for more vulnerable economic entities and fields and present them as soon as possible.
