A 6,2 magnitude earthquake hit Japan on Saturday.

The earthquake shook east of Honsu Island, RIA Novosti reports referring to U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

The quake epicenter was 57 km west of Iwaki city at the depth of 37,6 km. No tsunami warning was issued.

There have not been reports of injured.
