Human Rights Defender of Armenia Arman Tatoyan posted the following on his Facebook page:

“I join the call of my counterpart, High Commissioner for Human Right in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova according to whom all issues need to be solved in accordance with legal mechanisms.

I agree with the Federal Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation that inflammation of hatred and physical violence on the ground of ethnic belonging are inadmissible and that this undermines the foundations for human rights and freeedoms and may lead to massive violations and irrecoverable losses.

The Office of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia is in contact with its colleagues in Russia for protection of the rights of our compatriots.”
