The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) held a nationwide protest rally in Sofia on Saturday demanding the resignation of the government of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and the republic’s chief prosecutor Ivan Geshev, TASS reported.

Several thousand people took part in the protest.

"We are together to protect our children, our families and our parents from robbery," said Bulgarian Socialist Party leader Korneliya Ninova.
