A tragic incident took place Sunday in Kotayk Province of Armenia.

At around 11:10pm, a VAZ 2107 driven by 36-year-old Husik Khachatryan, a resident of Kaghsi village, and a Nissan Murano driven by 37-year-old Hrayr Azizbekyan, a resident of Yerevan, collided at an intersection, shamshyan.com reported.

There were no affected.

But some time later, while the two drivers were trying to remove the cars from the scene, a Nissan Fuga driven by 62-year-old Samvel Khachatryan, a resident of Hrazdan town, and ran over Hrayr Azizbekyan, who died at the scene. Also, 56-year-old Henrik Vardanyan and 40-year-old Armen Vardanyan, who are residents of Kaghsi village and were at the scene, were taken to Hrazdan Medical Center.

According to the source, Samvel Khachatryan is a police officer.
