The Turkish Bars Association has filed a criminal lawsuit against the Islamist magazine Gercek Hayat over its call for an Islamic 'caliphate' according to news site Diken.

In the last issue of the magazine, which came out after the transformation of the Hagia Sophia into a mosque, there was a publication about the need for mobilization in the name of a religious state under the leadership of an Islamic leader.

The lawsuit was filed against the editor-in-chief of the magazine, who shared the magazine's cover on social networks. He is accused of inciting the public to hatred and enmity and provocation in violation of the law.
