Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on Monday had a telephone conversation with Nassif Hitti, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of Lebanon.

The interlocutors exchanged views on ways to further expand and strengthen bilateral cooperation.

In the context of addressing the social and economic challenges due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, the role of international cooperation and mutual assistance was mutually emphasized.

The FMs of Armenia and Lebanon also discussed a number of issues on the international and regional agenda. Minister Mnatsakanyan touched upon regional peace and security and presented to his Lebanese colleague the respective approaches of Armenia.
