There are many big issues in the world that the current US administration is dealing with, and the South Caucasus, matters regarding Armenia and Azerbaijan are not given priority. James Warlick, former US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, stated about this in an interview with the Voice of America Armenian Service.

But he expressed the hope that when the conflict escalates, when there are casualties, the administration takes it seriously.

Warlick noted that the US is interested in peace and stability, and it does not want to see chaos in the region.

As per the US diplomat, Russia also does not want to see chaos near its southern borders, there is an opinion that the Russians are not interested in a settlement, but the fact is that the Russians themselves have a lot of problems and do not want instability on their borders, and this is the domain where the US, Russia, and France work closely together.
