Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Haroutyunyan on Tuesday attended the groundbreaking of a new residential district in capital city Stepanakert.

This new 228-apartment district is scheduled to be commissioned in 2022, and the project is funded by Russia-based Armenian benefactor Hamlet Vachenants.

The Artsakh President also visited various other construction sites in the capital city.

Haroutyunyan expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the ongoing work at these construction sites, and he instructed those in charge to oversee the quality of construction and strictly adhere to construction norms.
