YEREVAN. – Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) of Armenia Arman Tatoyan, coordinator of the Platform of Armenian Refugees initiative group Artur Ghazaryan, and the head of the International Center for Human Development Tevan Poghosyan on Tuesday discussed issues related to the protection of refugees' rights.

The Human Rights Defender of Armenia noted that this matter was one of the priorities of his work, the Ombudsman’s office informed.

From the point of view of resolving the issues of this domain, the importance of cooperation with the civil society was emphasized. From this viewpoint, Tatoyan welcomed the idea and goals of creating the Platform of Armenian Refugees.

Arrangements were reached on cooperation on a number of issues.
