A shocking incident took place in Yerevan on Wednesday.

Police received a call from medical center informing that they had admitted a woman with a diagnosis of "uterine bleeding," shamshyan.com reported.

The police and investigators found out that this woman was Armine H., 31, a resident of Yerevan, who had given birth on the same day at her workplace in Yerevan, then wrapped the baby in a plastic bag and thrown the newborn in a trash can.

A criminal case on murder charge has been initiated.

The woman has been detained.
