Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory telegram to Aleksandr Lukashenko on his victory in the presidential elections in Belarus, the Kremlin website reported.
"I hope that your state activities will contribute to the further development of mutually beneficial Russian-Belarusian relations in all areas", Putin noted.
