Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov has decided to change the country's constitution amid huge anti-government demonstrations that have been going on for more than a month.

The PM proposes to change the number of parliament members from 240 to 120, reform the judicial system, reduce the powers of the Minister of Justice, RG reported.

Borisov decided to shift the focus of citizens' attention from protests to debates over the republic's main law. Local political scientists saw a desire to hold power in their hands for as long as possible in his plans to reset the political model.
