Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) will never be a part of Azerbaijan, the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination is inviolable, and there is no alternative to the international recognition of Artsakh.

For us, Artsakh and Artsakh’s security are very important, the issue of Artsakh is one of the priorities of our political party, and we attach great importance to the meeting with the Unified Homeland Party. This is what leader of Homeland Party Artur Vanetsyan said during the meeting of the members of the political councils of Homeland Party and Samvel Babayan’s Unified Homeland Party today.

“You are one of those who have a heroic past and imposed peace on the enemy. Since the ceasefire agreement signed in 1994, Artsakh is liberated, we Armenians have liberated territories of our big homeland, and today it is our objective to keep those territories secure and under our control. Armenia’s security starts from Artsakh. Taking into consideration your past and experience, we are certain that your efforts will be geared towards ensuring of security of our big homeland,” Vanetsyan said.

Welcoming the visit of his colleagues from Armenia, Babayan attached importance to the healthy cooperation between the political parties of the two Armenian republics.

Vanetsyan touched upon his political party’s goals and objectives and, in this context, stressed his political party’s vision for a settlement of the Azerbaijan-Karabakh conflict.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed issues related to the security systems of Armenia and Artsakh and the efforts to lay institutional foundations of the cooperation of the two political parties.
