A meeting between Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) National Assembly (NA) president Artur Tovmasyan and Armenia’s Homeland Party leader Artur Vanetsyan took place Monday at the Artsakh NA, the Facebook page of this opposition party informs.
Tovmasyan presented the main directions of the activities of the Artsakh parliament, emphasizing the importance of a climate of trust and cooperation between the political parties represented in the NA, as well as of parliamentary diplomacy on the path to Artsakh's international recognition.
Vanetsyan emphasized the role of political parties and inter-party contacts in the political systems of the two Armenian republics.
The interlocutors also referred to the strengthening of Artsakh's security and defense capacity, economic development, and the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
