Dear parents, schoolchildren and [university] students, we have already informed that the education process in universities and general education institutions starts in the second half of September (except for freshmen). Arayik Harutyunyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, wrote about this on his Facebook page.

"In order to fully implement the education process throughout the year, to avoid new restrictions, please, if possible, ensure the restriction of interaction of schoolchildren, [university] students from September 1 to 14—voluntary isolation, so that we cut the chains of the spread of the [COVID-19] pandemic as much as possible, and not bring the virus to school from the first day of the start [of the new school year]," Harutyunyan added, in particular.
