According to Shamshyan.com, gunshots were heard in Yerevan a short while ago.

At around 10 p.m. the police station received an alarm from the university hospital according to which an on-duty group of paramedics had brought a citizen with injuries to the hospital.

An operational group left for the scene. While doctors were showing first aid, the police officers found out that the citizen had received injuries at an intersection in Yerevan and are now establishing the injured party’s identity.

The police also established the circumstances, but based on the interests of preliminary investigation, they aren’t making the information public for the time being.

According to Shamshyan, the gunshots were fired from a gas pistol.
