YEREVAN. – During his press conference Thursday, Armenia’s third President Serzh Sargsyan stated that the rumors about his intention to hand over territories to Azerbaijan were false.

"These are false rumors. I have never entered into any agreement—with anyone—that harms or poses a threat to the people. It's a shame. One just has to have shame to spread such rumors. They do it out of political preference, or dislike for me. But I believe that is the opinion of a narrow circle; it does not receive a reaction among broad circles. Such a thing has not happened and cannot happen," Sargsyan added.
