Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan today chaired a discussion on the report on the activities completed by the State Cadastre Committee in 2019 and during the first four months of 2020.

Head of the State Cadastre Committee Suren Tovmasyan presented the activities carried out within the scope of the 2019-2023 Action Plan of the Government of Armenia.

In particular, in 2019, the Committee developed and submitted the integrated cadastre concept paper and set up an inter-agency commission. In 2020, the Committee has drawn up Guidelines for Standards of Geospatial Data.

The government has approved the concept paper on the creation of a unified register of addresses in Armenia, and the drafts of the legislative amendments arising from the concept paper are being developed. The locations and names of streets are being adjusted and digitized, the database is being created, and works have already been carried out in eight provinces.

Within the scope of structural reforms, two of the five territorial subdivisions of the Committee have been combined, and now there are four territorial subdivisions.
