According to the RA Statistical Committee, it decreased by 10.2 percent compared to the same period last year.

There is no trade, as they say, in the largest car market of Armenia.

The reason is not only the coronavirus, but also the fact that the potential buyers of the cars, the Kazakhs, have not set foot on car market since the beginning of this year.

Zhoghovurd daily learned from the RA Statistical Committee that the retail trade also decreased in January-June of this year, making 14.2 percent. By the way, the wholesale trade decreased by 8 percent in the [first] 6 months of this year.

But, according to experts, these indicators were expected, as it is tense in Armenia in the last few months; the state of emergency declared [in the country] because of the coronavirus could not but affect trade and business.
