The children who were severely beaten by one of their relatives in Khashtarak community of Armenia’s Tavush Province Wednesday are both currently at Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center (MC) in Yerevan. Gevorg Derdzyan, the spokesperson of this hospital informed about this on Facebook.

"The second of the children who was beaten by a 58-year-old man in one of the villages of Tavush was also transferred to Surb Astvatsamayr MC in Yerevan. The child is 4 years old, conscious to some extent (…).

And the condition of the 6-year-old child remains critical. (…). He is unconscious, hooked up to a ventilator. The child's life is at risk," Derdzyan wrote.
