The course of implementation of reforms in the Police of Armenia was discussed and the agenda for the establishment of the new Patrol Service was touched upon during a consultation chaired by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan today.
Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan provided details about the acceptance of applications from citizens who wish to work at the new Patrol Service, the acquisition of vehicles and technical equipment, the selection of trainers and the other activities. Badasyan mentioned that the training for selected citizens will be launched at the Educational Complex of the Police in mid-October 2020. According to him, the reforms are being implemented according to plan, and the Patrol Service will launch its activities in Yerevan in the first quarter of 2021 and in the first quarter of 2022 across the country.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the establishment and functioning of the new Patrol Service in Armenia and assigned to continue the active efforts.
