Citizens protesting against the Amulsar gold mine project marched from Liberty Square to the government building in Yerevan. The children of the protesters are currently drawing a mountain with chalks.

A short while ago, environmentalist Levon Galstyan read his and other environmentalists’ demand. Alexander Ghazaryan, a representative of the government, approached him, and the protesters handed their letter to him.

The citizens protesting against the Amulsar gold mine project are demanding that the Government annul the conclusion of the Environmental Impact Assessment and conduct a new EIA.

Environmentalists of Yerevan were holding a protest at Liberty Square, and after a short while, they were joined by the residents of Jermuk and nearby villages.
