Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Avinyan today chaired a discussion on repatriation, as reported the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
Avinyan emphasized that Armenia needs to ensure interoperability of the various existing programs for repatriates and, if necessary, create new programs and develop a unified package of programs that will be both short-term and long-term.
The participants of the discussion touched upon assessment of the needs of repatriates, identification of the potential problems and the engagement of the resources required to solve those problems.
They also discussed issues related to the stay, education, healthcare and economic activities of repatriates.
